COLUMBIA - The Citizen's Police Review Board said the Columbia Police Department is facing several difficult issues relating to an officer shortage.The executive director of the Columbia Police Officers Association, spoke at the board's meeting Wednesday, saying the only solution is more feet on the beat.“Police officers that currently serve Columbia believe the environment is toxic," Dale Roberts said.
